Change of persona

G'day:
Just a note... if you have my dac.cfml GMail address on file... get rid. I'm discontinuing it.

The only thing I was seriously using it for was for administrating this blog, and participating in a coupla forums. I'm either ceasing activity on those forums, or migrating my creds to my personal account, just to de-bureaucracy-ise myself a bit. I'm now writing this article via my personal Google A/C.

I'll redirect email from the dac.cfml account for a while, I guess.

I think anyone I communicate with already has my main email address, but if not just sing out and I'll flick it to you. It's not a secret or anything, but it's also perhaps best not to just post it here.

I'm also gonna rename my GitHub account to something less CFML-centric (it's daccfml)... I seriously hope it doesn't break all the links in various articles I've posted here. I guess we're about to find out. I've just done it, and the redirects seem to work. But if you care it's now https://github.com/adamcameron/.

I will be maintaining my separate @dac_dev Twitter presence though. I don't want to bore the tits off my "normal" entourage with my technical commentary, and more importantly don't want to "offend" my technical followers by letting them know my personal positions on "things". Well: I don't care if I offend anyone, I just don't want to have to deal with the ramifications (/feedback).

Right. back to drinking Guinness @ Shannon Airport. And maybe eating something: two pints in and no food today yet (@3pm). Actually feeling slightly wobbly! Which is precisely the right condition to be in when rehoming credentials on various third-party websites. I mean... what could go wrong? ;-)
