Adobe ColdFusion Team getting their act together?

G'day:
On the heels of ColdFusion update 4 coming out yesterday, I see that there is now ColdFusion 10 Update 16 prerelease build available (37 fixes), as well as ColdFusion 11 Update 5 prerelease build now available (119? fixes). Good work.

Note that these updates are still only pre-release quality, so only fit for testing. Do not put the into production.

It's doubly pleasing that a) they seem to have finally got the message that with the number of issues they need to deal with, they really need to get the updates out more frequently so as to chop away at the back-log; b) not forgetting that they have a legal burden to support not only the current release, but also any other version still within its supported lifetime. It's a pity they didn't get one last updater for CF9 before it reached its end of life, but hopefully they'll see CF10 users right through until May 2017 when it EOLs.

It'd be excellent to get one update per month throughout the lifetime of the product.

What I'd like to see now is for this to be dealt with honestly and professionally:

The ColdFusion community deserves better than this "sweeping under the carpet" exercise from the Adobe Team. You gotta revisit all this stuff, Adobe, and deal with the issues like professionals. In your favour, a lot of them are probably so out-of-date now you can probably just close them as "we took too long to deal with them so now they're defunct".

They also need to hasten their efforts to triage incoming issues:

Anyway, good work for the current two pre-release updates.
